pachter is right, there was a time, due to brokerage fees, that stock splitting mattered. This is no longer the case with online brokerages offering $5 trades- or free trade even. To the small investor, stock splitting still does matter- Berkshire shares are inaccessible to most people because the stock did not split.
But 10 shares at $60 or 20 shares at $30 is the same money.

depends, are you going to play jade empire instead of okami or bioshock, then it would be a poor choice
but if you were debating its merits alongside lesser fare, say sudeki or phantasmagoria, go with jade empire
