@Kagiroi They don't need to. The 3DS has consistently been the best selling thing in Japan for months and not so consistently at the top but still doing near the best constantly elsewhere.

@Shockwave No, it really is doing really well outside of Japan too.

What people seem to be forgetting is that the 3DS had the price cut. This means Nintendo isn't getting the profits they wanted meaning they are losing money. It's simple maths

@Calatia That's fairly simple. The image on Joystiq is captured from a video which increased the size of the resolution of the footage and compressed the hell out of it.

It's going to look more like the images on IGN when you play the game, and trust me, it looks MUCH better in motion

Apparently, it only got beaten by 1,000 units and that's beaten by a game on two consoles so I'd say it did very well

I played this back in December for my site and it is a good fun game. It's a bit short and a bit easy, and it could have done with multiplayer on the mini-games, but I enjoyed every bit of it. From the massive 3D battles of Pikachu VS many Pokémon like Charizard, Feraligatr, Treecko etc. to the races against Pokémon like Dragonite and finally getting the target scores on each of the 14 mini games for all 16 of the Pokémon you can play as in it.

Yes, it's aimed more for the younger crowd and yes, it isn't a main series Pokémon game (one of those will not come for the Wii or any future home console, the developers have said so), but it didn't stop it being a fun game/

This is untrue. All the stuff said was that this saga of the animé will end, just like it has several times (this is the third saga)

The producers have said the animé will always feature Ash. This news report is massively erroneous
