thats exactly what it is. nintendo could easily make these things in the trillions if they wanted to. (i mean come on, anyone who says they are harder to produce than ps3's and 360's needs a swift kick to the nuts) but ninty wont do it cause it means less profit to recruit more lines into production.

.........which pisses me off. after all that has unfolded in this current console war ninty is the only company making money hand over fist on EVERYTHING they sell. whereas MS and sony are taking losses (360 recently started making money) just to deliver their products at prices that dont include your left testicle. imagine paying full production cost for ps3($840+change) and $600 doesnt look quite as bad.

at the same time ninty is making some $80 per wii. which isnt a lot but it puts things in perspective

ninty is CURRENTLY doing the best in numbers compared to time in the market. and especially money!!! so MS and sony are cutting themselves off at the knees for the customer and nintendo cant even do the decent things and take a tiny loss just to supply the customers who are eagerly waiting for a wii.

whatever you cut this with, there is no way around the fact that ninty is a being a filthy pirate hooker this time around!

what the hell kind of message is it sending to kids when we act like sex is the antichrist, while it is actually a completely natural, healthy part of our lives. not to mention the fact that it single handedly ensures the survival of our species.

as much as i love violent games, i can agree that "overly violent"(i cant really draw the line between okay violent and overly violent, so dont ask) games are infinitally more harmful than sex will ever be.

how the hell can someone possibly rationalize that? everyone acts like a kid is gonna see a boob on TV then go get a machine gun and start killing people at a mall. while in actuality it will probably make him put down his controller and take interest in a female for once. rather than spending his life in a basement playing GTA.

come again? would you mind telling me exactly where i said i only play with xboxer's? quote me if you can find it. and i can enjoy xbox games with my non gamer friends too. i dont bust out halo. but i have plenty of games that all my friends like.

and my ultimate point was: (since you obviously missed it) that if the wii and xbox were within $50 of each other, looking at features and game selection, most poeple would pick 360.

i think i figured out why they look so different. im think they where played with different setups. different TVs or inputs. cause if you watch both movies closely you can tell they are being played by 2 different people. the one playing 360 is doing good and killing shit and not getting hit much. the ps3 guy often swings his sword at the air and shoots at nothing. and does a horrible time dodging shots.

just take another look and watch closely. it is clearly not the same person. which makes me think they where played in 2 different places. which may be the reason they look to different.

the wii could really use a hard drive. a console of the next gen without a hard drive is not considered fully next gen IMO.

........but. this COULD be good or bad. a hard drive is a nice feature. but in reality no one can deny the necessity of a hard drive. and for that reason the wii could be considered a more expensive console.

like they said. if people start seeing it as a $350 console then sales will decline quite a bit. cause noone in their right mind would choose wii over 360 is they both cost the same.

as much as i like the wii and want to get one. the features and wiimote arnt what sells it so quick. its being $150 less than its closest competition.

please you guys. anyone here who is about to make a comment like "halo sucks. $130 is a rippoff" or "such and such a game is better" please dont bother.

this is a collectors addition for the halo fans (myself being one) and thanks to capitalism no one can force you to buy it. so just shut up about all that please.

halo IS not a great game but a super duper awesome game IMO.

and its got all cutscenes from all 3 games in HD on a dvd. halo 2 by itself had over 2 hours of cutscenes. so combined the CSs are like 3 full movies. plus another disc of bonus content and a book. MC helmet plus im sure there are other goodies too. bungie is the most secretive studio out there. so for all that an extra $70 doesnt seem that bad.

if they made a mario one of these all u fanboys would cream your pants. dont deny it.

if you dont like it dont buy it. pretty simple.

p.s. metroid prime IS NOT a better game than halo.

i dont know. first off this game doesnt look like anything special. and i find it hard to compare the 2 videos. the 360 one almost looks too dark and the ps3 one too light. so its hard to compare them.

i did notice one thing though. looking at the horizon's of both the 369's one is way sharper. up close they almost look the same but at distance the ps3 gets fuzzy and unclear. i have seen this same problem in other games. maby the ps3 sucks at doing distance.
