lol!! i love how summercamp used MS paint to make a little "no xbox 360s allowed" in the middle. like when kids drape a blanket over the table and call it a fort. then put their "no girls allowed" sign on it.

lol. i think hes 11. and sings in the blackout.

Eleven year olds sing badly about video games

Mar 16th 2007 3:55AM (Joystiq)
lol, you guys are wondering how they made that video.

im laying here wondering how they got a croud of a hundred+ people to wave glow sticks around and pretend to be so excited about that god awful music. LMAO

poor kids. one day their fellow age group females will one day start to develop breasts, and playing in the kiddie pool wont be fun anymore. till that time i dont know what else they should do. just stop making bad music about video games.

Nintendo Europe promises Wii production boost, how nice

Mar 16th 2007 3:06AM (Joystiq)
i dont know what to think about the wii shortage being "made" by nintendo. it sounds possible. cause the wii really cant be that hard to produce. it IS made with simple KINDA last gen hardware(not pickin fights with you ninty guys, but its true) so i dont see how they couldnt crank em out fast enough.

but making a fake shortage wouldnt help them out that much. if someone has got cash in their pocket lookin at walmart for a console, and wiis are all gone. they might REALLY want to start playin so they might pick up a 360 or ps3 instead.

i do honestly dought its a fake shortage though. i mean, at this point keeping the hype doesnt matter anymore. its been out 5 months. people want it. they already know everything about it and what they are getting in buying it. and they have already pulled off the greatest launch in any consoles history. nintendo has nothing to lose in the wii demand department. they are pushin em out the door as fast as they can.

i think the fake demand theory is stupid if you think about it.

Are Nintendo fanboys hurting the Wii's 3rd-party support? One fansite editor sounds off

Mar 13th 2007 5:55PM (Joystiq)
"I blame the fans though because look at resident evil 4 Is sold less that mario party"-remember me

thank you. that is a PERFECT example. RE4 was one of the best games of the last gen and undoughtedly the best GC game IMO.

i guess it is the fans that destroy it. anyone who has played RE4 in its enirety will agree that is was a shear masterpiece of epic proportions(almost made me get a GC just for it, luckily friends let me borrow it and their GC to play it for a week)

the fact that a game like that was out manuevered by mario party is a sick twist on reality showing that anything with mario in the title(no matter how good or bad it is) will always get picked up before games that are far FAR superior to it.

the ninty world is a depressing one at times.

"Dewy's Adventure, a game he feels internet users have called in "kiddie" based on its looks alone, subsequently refusing to give it a chance. This is a problem Nintendo had when revealing Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker"

well, noone likes childish graphics. even if the gameplay is solid(gameplay is still the most important) but making better visuals is the icing on the cake. people arnt going to be excited by graphics rivaling the old WB cartoons.(even though they were cool)

"Is the "kiddie" problem inherently Nintendo's, though? Regard Microsoft's Viva Pinata"

that is ONE game. (which is awesome by the way) and the graphics are fitting. when you "grow" pinatas you dont need them in full HD gears graphics.

the problem is *most* of nintendo's games seem to be in "kiddie" animation. thats how it earned its rep. not by fanboy accusations. its a fact.

"A prong in Cassidy's rant also concerns titles rehashed by Ubisoft and EA: "Prince of Persia: Rival Swords; Godfather: Blackhand Edition; Scarface; Mortal Kombat: Armageddon -- fans lambaste them all because they appeared on last-generation platforms"

well duh. you go buy the wii, an extra remote, zelda, maby another game. your are all excited(and rightfully so) then!!!: to your dissapointment you see the current release list full of games you already own or have already played a year ago to be released for your brand new awesome console you just shelled out for. fans are right to be up in arms over rehashes with a new control scheme.

i cant blame anyone for not being overjoyed to see a list full of old shit. if they released new games or at least sequels to the old ones then they wouldnt get backlash. once fans figure out your simply milking a cow with old tricks then they wont be happy.

Student-developed DS games available in Japan

Mar 13th 2007 5:21PM (Joystiq)
6. steve17: "but seriously, do the japanese just think they deserve everything and we dont?"
No. But I know you feel entitled to get every DS game ever made."

ummm....if you own a DS, you should be entitled to the full library of games that si available and not just a portion of them. there are probably twice the DS games(same with ps2 games) that are available to japanese then here in U.S.

steve17: " kinda pisses me off considering everything we can get so can they but not the other way around."
What evidence do you have that EVERYTHING we get they can get but not the other way around?"

well maby not EVERYTHING but i can name a few. multiple colors of the psp(here we only get black).
games is the biggest one. as i listed above.
and all kinds of stuff i cant remember. but it seems like every week they anounce something that is *japan only* you cant deny THAT!

steve17: "first off i love the: I heart NY carifornia.(i love how japanese cant say L)"
Is that because you hate them because they don't share everything?"

rather presumptous arnt we? actually i love the japanese. i love their culture(mostly), thier way of life. just about everything. its the one country i want to visit the most. that was in no way derogotive to them. and my comments werent directed at the japanese people. more the people that are deciding they dont want to share the wealth with the rest of the world. considering everything made here gets shipped to japan regularly. here we have to import japanese versions of everything that are either in japanese or translated by a 4th grade english student.

how about making your own points instead of trying to call me a bigot. cockshiner! lol, i love that word.

Game addiction battled with silent sound

Mar 13th 2007 5:07PM (Joystiq)
wtf is the ultimate point of this. making inaudible sounds that tell your subconscious to stop playing the game.
