It's not them charging for PSN, it's them being sick of not making money off of people that are too cheap to pay $60 instead of $55 for a used copy. Buy new and you'll never have to pay the $10 to play online.

On topic: I'm 100% okay with this. People that buy used aren't supporting the developers with their purchases, which is crap, so I'm okay with forcing people to pay $10 to play online.

The only thing that I think should be changed is it should be a code that unlocks online play for the console, not the person.

While I'm still doubting this rumor is true, I'd much rather have a new mode than an exclusive character. Not hating on the PS3 or Kratos, but one more character isn't really going to change the game that much, whereas a new mode probably would.

I think I'll be in the minority here, but my favorite Dreamcast game was Typing of the Dead. Not that the system didn't have other amazing games, but that's the game that I wanted to play badly enough to buy Dreamcasts 2-5 when each previous one broke down.

I'm with those that have been saying this isn't anything new. RPGs have been doing this for decades, so why is it suddenly a big deal?

Generally you don't have to know how much 1500 MS points translates to, as things work in sets of 400 most of the time. But, in case you're curious, 1500 points would be $18.75.

Also, wouldn't you expect NOT to know how much 1500 MS points really is if you don't own an Xbox?

At least it's better than the Sega Nomad. That thing lasted 30 minutes on 6 AA batteries...it was still awesome though.
