Its pretty obvious why sony decided to change the font. Whenever anyone sees that font what's the first thing they think? "Oh look its the playstation 3 font!"...No. what they really think is "Oh look its the spiderman font!" They are just going back to the old school playtation font so when people see it, theyre gunna think about the actual playstation and not spiderman.

How much does the slim weigh I wonder. It looks to me like they just made the enclosure more square with an ugly finish.
