Yeah, I call BS too. I watched it a few times and I did not see anything to show anyone was paddling the "wrong" way...and unless she is superwoman I don't see how she could steer that boat right in to that crest against everyone else's efforts....what about the guy who is SUPPOSED to be steering? Looks almost like he aimed right at it, lol.

That is awesome! I love that I can hear the birds breathing, fast at first to get away then slow when it is safe...really cool!!!

My thoughts exactly. To scream CHEATER is a trigger decision. If they had had sex, then yeah, but they did not. What I really want to know is, why does everyone ALWAYS point at the woman? Takes 2 to tango, seriously!

The GF/Wife debate is rather uncaring, IMO. It does not matter if you are married or not, when you love someone and they leave you for someone else, it hurts the same...marriage is just more expensive to leave.

Yep, walk light was on for him to go, and he waited until it was on before he moved. That is not to say cyclists are always safe drivers, they are not. The problem is that our roads need an update with a designated bike section so that they have a place to be, and drivers know where to look for them... (akin to Europe) I don't get why we do not have that, with all the people that do use the roads while biking.

Actually...I am willing to bet that he plays racing games. AND I do not think that he used the gas at all, rather that the torque was what was moving the vehicle.

Every parent has a moment when their kid does something that they NEVER expected. They are HUMAN, they are not omnipotent, they cannot predict that their child will decide to "be like mommy" and just go to the store.
I was laying down sick one day, and my youngest child was in the kids tv room watching cartoons. He was the same age as this child, and did not have school that day. We had food in the house, but he wanted pancakes. Rather than come tell me this, he decided to walk to the nearby school to get some. Imagine my shock when the school calls me to tell me he was there. I told them he most certainly was not, he was home! I have 4 children, he is the youngest. None of my other children ever did anything like that. Did I have rules about walking alone? Absolutely. Did I teach him that he needed to always have me, daddy or one of his older siblings with him when he was outside? Yep. Did I teach him about strangers and cars and crossing roads? Sure. Was the school close? Uh Huh. Was mommy sick? Yeah. You are 6, what would you do? Can you remember being 6?

People with no experience with children have a tendency to jump on the BLAME wagon, and fail to understand that children have brains. They are people, and they DO make decisions. They are not dogs, to be told "stay" and then be expected to do so. They go off and do their own thing sometimes, it is how we, as humans, learn. They scare the hell out of their parents, and find out that thats a bad thing and don't ever repeat it! At the same time you have to understand that this little guy is trying to do something nice for his parents by letting them sleep...BAD!!! VERY BAD!!! but his heart was in the right place.

I feel for these parents, and I wish society would stop being so hateful and judgmental. Parents have a hell of a job, and NOTHING is worse than losing a child, we do everything we can to keep our kids safe. But we cannot be on them every minute of every day. For one, it is impossible, and for 2 the children would never learn how to function. They DO have to leave home one day. What would your childhood have been like if mom and dad were there watching you every single minute. Baths, toilet, dates, school, the whole nine. So stop saying "where were the parents" and start realizing it is NEVER that simple.

Some day you will probably have children, and you will learn that once these small intelligent curious people get their feet under them, it is completely impossible to know where they are 100% of the time. They do not make noise when they walk off, you can be cutting veggies for dinner, talking to them, look one second, they are there... the next they are gone. With 2 adults it can be worse, because one may think that the other has an eye on things and vice versa. It is NEVER so black and white as "why wasn't the adult watching them?"

Rather than question where the adults were when she got out, question how was she able to access the pool area. Did she figure out the baby gate or pool gate lock? We do not know...and since we don't we should not lay blame since we have no facts to tell us anyone was at fault. Instead...

We do know she was found quickly, and that her brother saved her life. For a 9 year old to be able to ignore his families terror and focus on his baby sister to do CPR is nothing short of amazing to me, and he is really and truly a hero.

The year I went to summer camp, there was an activity where the children were hooked in to a safety line and walked a wire that was about 20 feet or so in the air, from tree to tree to tree. We had to switch the safety line across from one wire to the next when we went around a tree...leaving us temporarily with no form of support. It was terrifying, but that was not actually the most dangerous part. That came at the end, where they had a wooden seat attached to a single rope. You were supposed to sit on it with the rope between your legs, and swing down while holding tight to that rope. I refused to do it, despite a huge amount of pressure. The child that followed me wasn't so lucky....she attempted it. There was no tension in the rope, so she basically free fell until the line went taught, and she was not able to hold on to the rope. The entire top half of her body snapped backwards. She had to be carried away.

I do not believe a single one of the activities on that list are dangerous for children. I do; however, feel that requiring a medical staff is actually a good idea...because sometimes camps have activities parents do not know about...that truly are very dangerous.

It isn't sexist, lol. You were raised very well :) SOME men are good at thinking about cleaning, but I can tell you first hand...most are not. I have a husband and 3 boys, 12-17 years old. Hubby cannot tell when something needs to be cleaned unless there is a smell, and the boys take after him, lol. I am constantly on them to clean properly, every day....and it takes a very long time for it to get through to where they clean up something right, the FIRST time. I have yet to have them clean their rooms or do their laundry on their own, lol. All I can do is keep teaching them, and hope that my boys leave home and keep their homes clean like you do :)

Jolynn...Thank you...I had started to give up hope that people existed who were truly not racist, and then you posted, (hug).
I do think that the Billboard is a horrid monstrous thing, but to be fair, it should say that the most dangerous place for a child is in the womb. If you are going to be a righteous ass, there is no reason to be race specific.. unless; of course, you are a racist righteous ass.
