$#!t happens. Even Apple is allowed to have problems once in a while. Yeah, not being able to send emails for 24 hours is not a good thing, but it happened once guys. Being you all are paying customers, I'm sure they're going to put things in place to prevent an outage like this from happening in the future.

Blackberry Messenger only let's you talk to other blackberries with THAT application, but RIM also has apps for windows live, yahoo, aim, gtalk, etc. They work great.

Of course Apple is developing this. Look at their Fiber Channel standard they use for high-end systems. It's like what.. 2Gbps per channel? Now with Gigabit Ethernet full duplex creeping up to 2Gbps, what else can they do but develop a NEW Fiber Channel to keep all the high end peeps happy.
