Zune HD coming September 15th, says leaked display stand

Aug 12th 2009 5:28AM (Engadget)
"You might want to give Apple some credit as the Zune HD is just a copy aimed to steal iPod sales. Everything was copied, from the form factor, to the app store, to the home button"

In the world of Technology. Nothing is ever original. Everyone copies everybody else, and then they add their own touch or spin to it.

That's is the way this industry works and if it weren't for that, many of the products and advancements out today would not exist. So all the people saying this company did this or that and they copied it so it sucks should get off their high horse.

I own an iMac, iPhone, Built Windows PC, Zune etc. I love both sides but i honestly feel as a media player the Zune HD takes the cake.

The Zune HD focuses on providing quality sound and quality video. There is no need for a camera or Bluetooth

It's not a phone, it's not a PDA or Mini Computer. It's not trying to be those things. As it has been said before, the iPod Touch is mediocre at doing lots of things and the reason it is popular is because it can do looks of things.

But the Zune HD is focusing on Media. They have Windows Mobile to compete in the phone market.

I enjoy having my iPhone but honestly it gets frustrating to use sometimes.

I am honestly considering purchasing a Zune HD as my main media player.

Oh and 3 other things.

1.The App store concept isn't very new. It has been around for a while it different forms. This is the first time it has taken off with such success.

2.You can't judge Apps for the Zune when their App Store hasn't even been released yet. Yes the iPhone/iPod Touch have plenty of good apps. But the Zune's backbone is Windows CE, this platform has been developed for for years and years, way before the Apple products have even appeared. Also they are using Nvidia products using technologies that are similar to the ones used in PC's so once again development will not be very difficult.

3.When it comes to the Ipod Touch Fall update, you know they are only adding a camera and bumping up the specs to match the iPhones'. There is no way that the specs of the Touch will ever surpass those of the iPhone. The Tegra will still be more powerful than the Touch after the update, but it's up to Microsoft and third party developers to fully exploit that power.

The Touch and the HD are two different yet similar beasts. They compete against each other but offer two different experiences. How about we let the product come out first and then really give an honest opinion. Not a decision made by looking at pictures and a video.

Review: 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP

Pontiac G8 GXP

• A 230-watt Blaupunkt audio system
• XM Satellite Radio
• Bluetooth phone compatible

Now a few points:
1.When in the world can 265 hp beat 415? Please tell me.

2.The wrx comes with plain cloth seats while the G8 has two tone leather.

3.The wrx basically has a base radio while the G8 offers a higher quality stereo with bluetooth.

There are other points i can mention but right there you can get the idea. The cars are priced differently because they are aiming at different markets.

The WRX is aimed at young kids who just want to go fast and don't care for the luxuries. The G8 GXP is built for an older crowd who has families and can take their kids to school with their car and have a quiet comfortable ride, but when they want to, mash through the gears as well.

If your happy with a WRX, then be happy with it. But i'll be happy with my big v8, my comfortable leather seats, and my blasting radio as i fly right by you.
