JVC debuts 8K / 4K prototype camcorders, moviemakers drool

May 12th 2009 10:23AM (Engadget)
Form follows function my friend.

This is not a consumer product, nor a prosumer product, this, like RED, is a professional grade super HD movie camera, and like RED looks are pointless.

It works, who cares what it looks like? have you seen current TV/Movie cameras? they essentially look the same, big black boxes with lenses on them.

HTC Snap reviewed: QWERTY keyboard, Winmo 6.1, no great shakes

" he did find the inclusion of a TAB key (where the A key belongs) to be particularly annoying."

/me looks at keyboard layout vs. PC keyboard layout

nope, the 'a' key does not belong to the left of the 'q' key, someone here just isn't used to a keyboard

if you look at the G1, there may not be a tab key, but the 'a' key is in the same relative location as it is on the snap, just because you're not used to there being a button there on a smartphone, doesn't mean the 'a' key is out of place.

You get Gasoline at Gas Stations, thus you get Electricity At Electric Stations or Elec Stations if you're bored, or Gas Stations if the owner is smart.

One Question how much will they charge us to charge our cars?

Lenovo and RIM's Constant Connect now available

Well, if you're without a WiFi connection or hard wire, this appears to act as a replacement for a 3G card.

Providing the hardware cost isn't outrageous this would be a handy little thing to have, however, given the fact that ThinkPad's are usually cost prohibitive in SMB's, and Larger businesses would see more benefit from 3G cards. I hardly see a real market for this.

Though, i could be wrong.

@Joshua Topolsky

I'd have preferred you not even mention this.

It's all just fearmongering, and i'll have none of that on any blog i read. You are not slashdot, you are a gadget blog, this is not a gadget, thus you should not be posting about it. I read about this on slashdot allready, i don't want to hear about it here.

The only fearmongering i want from engadget is rumors and speculation about new Zune models
