Video: iPhone copy and paste is a 'pretty incredible thing'... for 1999

@ Paul Chapel

So does Steve ever bother to give you a reach around every now and then? Would be totally mean if he didn't. Sorry, but someone had to say it. Stop making everything out like Apple invented the wheel or made things revolutionary just because it is done through OSX mobile. Your proclivity along with other Apple fanboys to make the simplest functions other companies have done for years seem amazing and new as well as smug is what makes other people sick of Apple's fanbase. It does look nice, but in the end it gets the job done and that is all we care about, as those of us who really have needed copy and paste these years instead have been using Blackberry's and WinMo at work. Seriously, stop drinking so much Apple flavored Kool Aid.

$50 for a home premium disc is really too expensive for you? That is less than the cost of a new Playstation 3 or XBox 360 game.

Frank O'Connor leaves Bungie for Microsoft to work on Halo franchise

May 18th 2008 3:59PM (Joystiq)
Having Frankie stay with the Halo franchise is a GOOD thing. Basically he has been one of the major writers and essentially, with Joseph Staten, created the story Bible that the entire IP has come from. Having him stay with and manage the IP will make sure the continuity will remain with all of the developers, giving fresh life to different parts of the Halo universe, but remaining consistant. This really needed to be done in order for the franchise to work well with MS after Bungie split. My dream job would actually be to do what Frankie is doing and manage the IP with him and MS. Fans of Halo (and yes, there are those out there who have read all the books and all material and know the potential this series really has) must be excited for this to happen. I know I am. I will still be a big Bungie fan, though, and he will be missed on the forums.

Metareview: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)

Nov 8th 2007 9:29AM (Joystiq)
I may be a huge Halo fan, and I am, but I think Nintendo finally made a Wii game fun enough, that I will buy one this X Mas. I LOVED and still love Mario 64 to this day as one of my all time favs and if this is as good or better, definitely worth getting a Wii for...that and the girls love Wii sports :)

Nintendo reveals TV guide service for Wii

Nov 4th 2007 7:49AM (Joystiq)
You sir, are an idiot. The Wii does not have the technology or storage for television and Nintendo does not have the close business ties that Microsoft and Sony have with the television and digital entertainment system. I think the Wii is a fun system, but I am sorry, any Wii TV or downloadable movie service would be like Fisher Price Cable Service.

Epic phail. TV guide on my Wii when I can just push the guide button on my digital cable box or play and watch TV through Media Center on my 360 (and eventually watch and record on my 360 with IP TV). This Wii channel is teh ghey.
