Why is the games industry failing women?

Ummm, because it's run by men??!!

Christian stations wary of "a la carte" cable

Jun 12th 2006 11:06AM (AOL TV)
I don't think it would hurt them either. My Mom would love to watch the Christian channels, though the Dems have her brainwashed so badly with their agenda about Republicans taking away Social Security. Must be though on the liberal that so many who are religious still vote Democrat like my Mom and my Aunts. I know you don't want them on your side, so keep up whatever you've been doing the last 12 years - I love it! Damn those people who believe in something and aren't soulless, huh?

Thank God (and Jesus) that liberals have such condescending views of everyone who's not living in their parents basement or working for Viacom and Google. Good luck in those elections. Woo, baby! :)

Fox "investigates" PSP porn [update 1]

The media "inventing" stories that aren't really news? No way, man. Quick call CBS News - I'm sure they'd cover it. ;)

American Idol: Mexicans for Taylor

May 17th 2006 5:34PM (AOL TV)
And unfortunately, Dancing in the Dark wasn't that impressive. He's an old soul and it seems obvious that he can't sing in the modern era.

I think he's going to win. Cowell & Clive Davis will have to figure out what they're going to do with him. It should be interesting.

Actually, finals week should be great, because at that point Taylor will have to sing a contemporary song (the song written for the two finalists). He'll either pull it off or crash and burn horribly (the latter seems more likely), but still will win, I think.

American Idol: Mexicans for Taylor

I'm sure Taylor's 60's cover album will do okay, and those gigs in Branson will sellout, yet other than that I don't see the appeal.

I'm not sure, yet perhaps you know - Has Taylor sung a song on the show that was written in the last 20 years?

Dancing in the Dark ('84) based on my feeble memory is the "newest" and most "contemporary" song he's done.

A la carte cable is the way to go

I wouldn't want Fox News either - Keep the blinders on, that's my mentality. :) It's a joke!! I get my fake news from CBS!

Lets see, from my capitalist point of view...

In: HBO, ESPN, Starz, VH1 Classic, F/X, CNBC (though looking forward to Fox Busines channel), Fox News, CNN, CNN Headline News, TNT and A&E (only for the Sopranos reruns this fall).

Out: Showtime, Bravo, MTV... Pretty much anything owned by Viacom.

I'm sure glad NewsCorp bought us last year instead of Viacom. :)

Celebrities... Is there anything they don't know?

(see Clooney, Maher, Streisand to start)

What is it about celebrity that makes people believe their smarter than everyone else?
