umm if 80 billion yen is roughly 700 million USD. then 513 billion yen is roughly 4.5 billion USD (someone correct me if im wrong). 6 billion reserve, 4.5 billion debt (doesnt seem to include the 700 million just borrowed). Doesnt seem Sony has thier shit together.

Dont get me wrong though. even 1 billion in reserve is better then a lot of other companies.

i think it boils down to this 'parents want politicians to make these laws so they can go back to ignoring what thier kids do'.

Parents in the USA are so lazy and ignorant its almost pathetic. Dont want your kid to see things you consider inappropiate? dont let them watch or look at it. Dont want your kids hurt? dont let them around places or people that might hurt them. Dont want your kid playing violent video games? dont get them a video game console or at least examine what games they have or wanting to buy.

That would be too simple. Instead we have to go to draconian laws or get so fuzzy with the laws/constitution we start looking like the enemy we had the cold war with.

Actually its technically illegal for Gamestop and Best buy to do that its called bait and switch. they did it with the 360. In saying that i didnt mean to say they didnt. But if they do it again on ps3 and nintendo maybe we should get organized and do something about it. Do what americans do best: Sue!

Everytime i see the pictures of people playing the Wii controller it worries me. Sometimes i go for a week without playing anything then i sit down one night and play it for 3 or 4 hours straight (veg day i call it). If i'd have to stick my arm out like that the whole time just to play a game it would get relentlessly LAME! (the controller is still appealing to me, just have a feeling it will get old quick)

Not meaning to rip into your statement. But we havent actually seen enough to know that. If you want to talk specs..yeah looks great. but so were the specs on the ps2 which in my opinion was beaten bloody by an 'off the self' p3 processor in the xbox.
