Japanese hardware sales, 27 Nov - 3 Dec: wiivolution edition
Dec 8th 2006 5:26PM (Joystiq)I figured the Wii would jump into the fray strongly, but to nearly DOUBLE the DS Lite...regardless of all the region/allocation/launch hiccups, even Sony and M$ fans have to give a nod to that.
The DS Lite has been running a "Jordan-era Bulls vs your pee-wee basketball team" slaying in hardware sells for so long it seemed like the very term "#1" could be replaced with DS Lite.
...props to the Big N's new little giant.
Moore: Too Human, Crackdown, Forza 2, Shadowrun by end of June

Boo! Scariest moments in gaming history
Oct 31st 2006 1:32PM (Joystiq)I can't recall the exact scene cause I think it's now a suppressed memory but suffice it to say, I finished the game months later by ONLY playing when there were plenty of folks in a well lit room with me during daylight hours.
Oh, I also get the heebee jeebees when I hear that "hhnnhhnn" sound the Iron Maidens and Regenerators make in RE4...and the first time the on-screen character's head explodes in Eternal Darkness messed me up a bit. The insanity effect made it mad creepy but it also one I had to beat over and over.
PSP LCD FTW over DS LOL

Oct 23rd 2006 4:03PM (Joystiq)Nintendo "Revolution" now called "Wii" [update 6]
Apr 28th 2006 10:56AM (Joystiq)For all the donkeys' rear ends claiming "i'll never buy/play anything with such a (insert negative adjective here) name"...if your mind is too small get around what you see as a bad name, to the incredible experience Nintendo's presenting with such immersive and unprecedented game play, then you need to stop playing games altogether and go grow the (expletive) up.
Wii are those who can see beyond the status quo of gaming...Wii ARE the revolution
Sonic racing to Revolution?
Feb 15th 2006 10:29AM (Joystiq Nintendo)Instead of creating a Sonic just for the Rev, it would make sense to do a port that went to all 3 next-gen systems (ofcourse, with revmote functionallity on the Rev) and then focus special attention to intergrating Sonic characters and whatnot into what could be one of the highest selling titles of all time.
There has always been the question of "Who would win in a fight?", from different games and consoles...SSMB answered the challenge for Nintendo games, and adding Sonic would take it into the realm of crossing consoles. It may not be as exciting to anyone else as it is me, but if nothing more, it's just more reason to greatly anticipate the Revolution.
