Are you talking about the Golems in BRD? I have done the same thing, but never been able to replicate the feat elsewhere.

No, really, it's so frustrating having to roll against DK's, Hunters, Pallies, and Warriors for tank weapons in 25-man pugs.

I had to pay some stupid paladin 2000g for my Hellion Glaive....and it's not even that great of a tanking weapon :(

I just wanted to note Allison that you should add in the engineering helm enchant (+45 stam and MC) for Bears. I use it over the Argent Crusade since effective health still trumps defense anyday.

As well, since Maul is such an integral part of our rotation, may I suggest some macros? It's much easier for a bear to not lose their left hand by doing something like this for each ability:

Feral Faerie Fire:

Trust me, your fingers will love you for it. (I don't remember where I originally found these macros but they have been a godsend for me learning how to play bear more effectively.

To the bear tank above. While I know that Rage is still slightly hard to come by, this macro will change your life.

This macro will constantly queue Maul for you as you swipe, which is honestly a godsend. I would have quit tanking a loooong time ago if I hadn't found this macro.
