The bloody corporate future of Syndicate

Sep 29th 2011 11:48PM (Joystiq)
@Aerothorn

First, forgive me for not being a PC gamer 11 years ago and thus knowing about the original Deus Ex. Dont get me wrong, I really got into the latest one. I am just saying that with the tidal wave of amazing games coming out in the next six months, I will have moved on from DX.

Also, I know this game's conceits will be quite different, however the similarities are like a lot of games that are designed within the same relative time periods. Designers tend to tap into the current zeitgeist of gaming.

The bloody corporate future of Syndicate

I think by the spring I will be ready for this, long after I have forgotten about DX. I will also never get tired of game trailers using dubstep. I do wish more game music was dubbage...

The Joystiq Show - 006: Musical Players

@(Unverified)

Someone recommended the Giant Bomb cast, but I am finding more and more they are talking about old arcade systems and MOBA's, neither of which I have any interest in...I am still trying to decide if it is worth the 2 hour listen, but maybe I should wait until there is anything interesting to talk about after this drought of games

The Joystiq Show - 006: Musical Players

Sep 2nd 2011 10:41AM (Joystiq)
I know it is late, but I thought I should comment on this show. I listened to the old format for years, and while I enjoyed most of it, this episode finally pulled me into liking the new format. I didnt much enjoy the transition, namely the content covered for the first few shows. Maybe it is that I miss the [insert name of podcast that was smart, well produced, and he made his own music for the show - cant remember then name!] and its content and production. Thanks for bringing me back, I am getting tired of gaming podcasts that just ramble on about nothing, this is what I have been missing lately!

Same here, I didnt finish because I got sooo tired of him, and by that time, I had already seen what the last boss was like, so being spoiled I moved on, no hard feelings...

On another note, I downloaded an 'full' OST gamerip that had 131 Tracks with a Playtime of 4 Hours 51 Minutes 5 Seconds, but it didnt even have any of the spanish guitar music nor any of the loading screen musics

If this doesnt have some of either, I am over this
