Will the consumers buy though? Sorry but the article completely forgets that US TV and movie are huge in Europe still, and it's largely coming from Blu Ray. Also Blu Ray software sales jumped by 33% once the PS3 came up, while HDDVD is still lagging behind.

Even if Euro studios are choosing HDDVD, it will all depend on whats selling and if Blu Ray is outselling HDDVD as it is currently in Europe, then HDDVD is going to get dropped.

How does this confirm it's a Wii game when nothing of the sort is mentioned in the article, and the news comes from "Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation"

In november PS3 sold 197k. In December they sold 490k, in January 249k, in Feb 127k.

Thats over 1 million sold already back in Feb in the US alone. All numbers supplied by NPD, actual factual data, and not Wikipedia nonsense.

Seriously wtf, I like how fanboys like to think Resistance sucks. Game got great reviews all around and is a damn good first person shooter. It's not change the world FPS like Halo was back on original xbox, but its a damn fine good game.

Oh yea Sixaxis functions would be awesome. Like dive down the controller to take cover in game, then pop it back up to come out of cover to shoot perhaps, or even put aiming attached to the sixaxis as well somehow with like a cursor on screen?

Either way sounds good.

This game was reported as having over 400k preorders. The game is going to be number 1 for the week no doubt.

Monster Hunter is huge in Japan, they love the thing..... I never really got into it and it didn't do that amazing in the US, but well, the Japs love it.
