Intel GMA HD graphics review deems them excellent for video, mediocre for gaming

@darkNiGHTS
While using probably a few times more power as the Intel chip solution. And don't forget that everything *but* gaming will be slower on the AMD setup.

Clearly, if you're a games, discreet graphics will be necessary at least for the next couple years.

So true. Hell, I've got a Sony *8-Track* and 80's receiver that still work fine. But an early 90s VCR & Cassette Walkman broke within a few years!

Why not offer ExpressCard connectivity as well? That port sits on my laptop just waiting to be used for the perfect solution: HDMI + eSATA.

Also, no Linux support? Lame.

I propose we have discounts for those living in cities then. It's not at all fair that I have to pay for those who have chosen to live in rural areas.

If MetroPCS can get their act together a little bit more, I'm seriously considering switching. $50/mo for unlimited EVERYTHING, with no contracts to sign.

No MicroSD is almost a deal-breaker for me. I love this phone, but honestly... Why no microSD? I cannot think of any reason not to include it.

There is also a big psychological difference between trading cheaper and more expensive stocks. And around $60 is usually that mark. I'd say this effects the day-trader more so than anyone else. The investor won't really care about this split.

"a software update for Sprint later this summer"

What the hell? We've had this phone since November and are still waiting for My Location. Awesome Sprint, just awesome. I'd switch if I wasn't paying $30 a month.

Sprint's $130 Samsung Instinct twists free

Jun 21st 2008 10:57AM (Engadget)
An unlocked price of $630 is still a great deal! If you were to keep it for two years with $30 SERO, vs. the $70 Everything plan...

130 + 24 * 70 = 1810
630 + 24 * 30 = 1350

$460 difference! Plus, you save your upgrade bonus of $150 for not getting a new phone, so you can upgrade again sooner for cheaper. The only question is if sprint will actually active the unlocked phone...
