What about a symbiotic game like Kindom of Hearts? But, instead of meshing Disney and FF, mesh Nintendo's characters (Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Bowser, etc.) with Warcraft?
Meh, none really struck a chord with me. I'm tired and annoyed with all the anti-Spore news this week, thought the Hannibal comic was cheap, so I voted for "Digital Unrest," though I think PA was actually the funniest this week. Just don't think the PA guys need any more hype.
I thought the lock should have had "Wife" written on their as well; at least for me, personally, she's usually very understanding, until Tuesday she came home and saw the RB setup sitting in the living room. Her eyes needed a bra.
Even with that response, you still have a flaw in your logic: The black Mac Book is not just a color upgrade, it's also a processor and hard drive upgrade.
Well, I've been playing since the first month of the game's release, and must say that though I don't like the fact that they completely overhaul the mechanics of the game every year, it isn't as bad as most say it is.
I'm more of a go-with-the-flow kinda guy, so maybe that's why I'm more tolerable of the changes, but honestly, you can't make them turn back time, so might as well enjoy what is offered.
The Legacy Quests are not that rewarding for high lvl players, but they do have some good stories, and funny dialog.
As for the new Restuss quests? Get this: Each repeatable quest gives you 1 Commendation point, which you can redeem for armor and weapons. Problem is, each quest takes about 20 minutes (so, 1 comm. point per 20 minutes), and each piece of armor costs 800 Comm. points. So, basically you have to play ONLY with these quests for 16,000 minutes to get ONE piece of armor.
There's where SOE dropped the ball on the new quests.
A good example of not ALL press is good press, is actually the PSP ads here in the states. Those talking squirrels really turned me off to the PSP. I talked with many people about them (oh, everyone's talking about the PSP!), and how offensive, racist, and stereotypical they were. Based on that, and maybe the lack of a single game worth dropping $200 on the PSP for, I decided to pass. Okay, maybe it was more the game part, and not the ads; but, they certainly didn't help!
All of you who are complaining about the price of VC games, need to notice that he didn't say OLD games from NES or SNES would cost $5, he said that new, simple, 2-month produced games would cost $5. So, $5 for a game like Geometry Wars or Bejeweled! seems fair to me.
Remember what Miyamoto said at E3: NES games would cost a couple of bucks, SNES would cost about $5, and N64 would cost a little more.
So, I discount that complaint, along with the blinking light complaint. You guys are just REACHING for something to complain about the Wii. Just admit it, aside from the name, they haven't made a mis-step yet (even the lack of a HDD is great, since they said that the Wii will accept ALL 3rd party storage devices. Meaning, I can plug in my free {after rebate} 512mb USB stick and have all my NES games on there. Or, buy a cheap HDD and external kit from Fry's and use it, rather than being forced to pay Nintendo's up-charge).
Also, no one seems to have mentioned that VC games may be streaming content, and not actually d/l'd to your Wii...
I'm less concerned with the lack of a rumble feature, and more concerned with the education of these gaming "professionals."
Good god, I have never seen worse grammar, spelling, punctuation, and train of thought. That first review makes NO sense to me. I can't tell; is he for the rumble, or not? Is it important or not?
And, a VP of marketing should sure as hell know how to capitalize, punctuate, and overall type-o check his writing. Pitiful.
