About the dumbest way to play Guitar Hero 3

Feb 6th 2008 11:58AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Have you heard of http://www.gonintendo.com or http://wiifeed.net

They make this site irrelevant.

Do not want: BOOM BLOX

Feb 6th 2008 11:56AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Hasty Judgments suck. I only come here once a week tops now (thanks to wiifeed.net and gonintendo.com, much better sites) and that is just to marvel at either A) how excited about yesterday's or the day before's news as though it is recent and not reported up and down the net already or B) How often they just plain hate on stuff they know nothing about.

Some people might see these updates on this game and think 'Wow, I thought it was just going to be like Jenga. I'm surprised that the blocks are turned into characters, that there are 300 levels, that there is a level editor and that you can send your levels as challenges to friends over wiiconnect24. I bet somebody would like this game, even if its not for me.'

This site sees it and goes "How generic, a bunch of characters and level editors in a block game?" How not generic would you like a big block made into a chicken to be man? I don't think there's such a thing as a 'Generic, Run of the Mill Interactive Block-Shaped Chicken.' Sounds pretty damn unique to me. I mean: I don't want to play this game but I don't want to blast it off the face of this earth with hateful thoughts just because its not for me. I just notice there are other names not showing up in the comments regularly or at all anymore that were long time visitors of this site, and I'm sure if more people knew about gonintendo.com (and the helpful wiifeed.net) they would hardly ever come here.

90% of DS owners are pirates? Not bloody likely!

So you are just pirating books and music?

It's definitely worth a try~ the people making it sounded very sincere, like they were in it for the art. And making a difference to people. Of course it did poorly! But when something of substance does poorly that means its probably amazing.

When modding goes wrong

They hate every mod and insult the tastes and sensibilities of those who made them. Oh wait, they will now link to like three or five they didn't hate over the last year. Let's just say they hate on lots of stuff that they get tons of comments about from people that like what they were hating on. I'm a gonintendo.com kid at this point, 'f this noise' is my new motto with regards to this site.

Closing the italic and not making everything past your one liner slanty on the entire page is a very real option at this point. ;) lol

Wii Warm Up: 'Fess up to your gaming non-achievements

Why not have people writing that PLAY games? You haven't played Mario for months for no reason? I'm glad it feels good for YOU to come clean but I can't help thinking of all the people who like games who might be better suited to a job like yours.
