Rayman Origins trailer blurs the line between collection and rescue

Dec 6th 2011 5:49AM (Joystiq)
I played the demo on Xbox Live and fell in love with it! I told my wife to get it for me for Christmas. Can't wait!

How Beachhead is putting Call of Duty: Elite back together again

Nov 12th 2011 9:11AM (Joystiq)
I'm glad I didn't pay for this. I know they gave subscribers one free month for all the troubles but what if they don't have it up and running smooth by 12-8-11? Those of you that paid keep an eye out for when Elite is fully functional! You did pay for it!

Battlefield 3 beta now available to the masses

Oct 1st 2011 1:31PM (Joystiq)
I downloaded the BETA for the 360. It runs smooth and looks good. The coolest thing I've experienced is being able to see my legs when I jump over things. Very nice feature that actually makes me more immersed in the game world. Game play wise it feels like Battlefield which for many is a positive but for me it's not. My main gripe is that many times I die and I have no idea how, which leads me to believe there's a lot of camping going on. I have no problem with camping as long as I can get a clue as to how I died. But in the Battlefield games I find it harder, many times impossible, to tell how I died. Very frustrating for me. Anyway, I'll give it another shot to see if I change my opinion once I unlock some attachments.

Yep, in no time they will be $20, the price point all video games should be. And then I'll pick them up.

Call of Duty XP attendees: 'It's amazing'

Sep 5th 2011 3:26PM (Joystiq)
@The Cole Train

And that's a bad thing? I'll take 60 fps over better graphics running at 30, especially if I'm going to be playing online. 60 vs. 30 does make a difference.

Modern Warfare 3 trailer ramps up multiplayer

I love it how the CoD news brings out the CoD haters. It's awesome to read your comments! Very entertaining.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to have cross-play for PS3, PC, Mac and not Xbox

Aug 28th 2011 8:07PM (Joystiq)
Keep my Xbox 360 gaming away from PC gamers. The last thing I want is to be mad cause I'm getting owned by a keyboard/mouse player. If I want to play with keyboard/mouse I'll buy it on PC (which I probably will cause CS is best on PC.) The nice thing about console gaming is that you have less chance of getting owned due to differences in hardware. Lets keep it that way.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor uses Xbox 360 controller and Kinect simultaneously

Aug 16th 2011 1:48PM (Joystiq)
@DevilSei

The deal with Kinect and voice control is that you don't have to wear headphones with mic. And Kinect can hear you (if you calibrate it right) in a noisy room. But anyway, what else does voice control to the extent of Kinect?
