Rovio really seems to be doing everything in their power to support Android without supporting Google.

Wii Warm Up: wrist straps

Jan 11th 2007 9:50AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I ordered straps simply because they were free. I figured one day the straps may wear out but more likely simply get dirty and I might want to replace them. Not because Nintendo gave out faulty straps though. It takes a real idiot to break this. I figure if you break your tv then that's what you get. I and no one who has used my wii have come close to throwing the wiimote from our grasp.

PS3's Eye-Toy to incorporate 3-D mapping?

Aug 15th 2006 12:08PM (Joystiq Playstation)
I would have to say that the Wiimote seems more intuitive to actual gameplay. I can not say for certain as I have not had the chance to try the Wiimote out. However having played with the Eyetoy for ps2 I was not all that impressed. It was fun for a few minutes. Also, I can't imagine playing a baseball or drumming game being as much fun simply waving your hands around as opposed to actually swinging or taping something physically in your grasp. I would say that this new and improved Eyetoy would have to be very very improved to be more than a gimick.

Homebrew sans the flash cart [Update]

The m3adapter is awesome but it is designed for use with the gba system. It will not utilize the DS's finer qualities.
