I'm not sure the codes will work for the PS3 when they do release it in North America.

Plus the FAQ from the DR. Pepper site says...

"All games require a Microsoft Xbox 360, Mac and/or PC"

Our dependence on any foreign source of energy is a potential problem even without the terrorist angle.

Moving away from oil as a energy source is in our best interests in the long term. I think Democrats and Republicans can all agree to that.
