Original DSi design had two DS slots, disliked by Nintendo EAD

Feb 23rd 2009 4:30PM (Joystiq)
Sorry if this question is redundant, I haven't found this information anywhere else.

Will any form of DSi Rumble be possible?
Does the DSi use the same charger? I already have a car charger for the DS, it would suck to need that replaced.

Jilted Bob's Game creator fights back by littering

He hasn't pirated the Nitro SDK, he's running the game from a flash card. The Nitro SDK is the tools to 'embed' the game onto a read only memory DS cartridge.

Meteos. Not that crappy disney version, I want a real sequel. More Shiren would be awesome too. can't have enough roguelikes.

Chrono Trigger piracy checks already beaten

It's actually pretty basic. There's a special subroutine that manually makes a hash of the code in the DS RAM at the time, and compares it to what it should be. Every flash cart alters the code slightly, causing a hash mismatch.

Somebody who buys a PSP is a customer. I'm assuming by a pirated PSP he means custom firmware. If he actually pirated even the PSP, yeah, then he isn't. :P

Nintendo DSi cheap* at Renchi

Or the import mafia is going to make an offer Renchi can't refuse.

DS Daily: Buy? Or sell?

There's many problems in trying to make a stock market/ecomony trader game, mainly you're stuck with near dumb luck, or it's easy to figure what 'news' is profitable. But what do I know? been hurt before, but If I saw a few good reviews, I'd give it a try.

DS Fanboy Review: N+

Aug 30th 2008 5:22AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I got this game, I've beaten all 45 sets of 5 levels in less than a day.
Compared to the original n, I found quite a few small things lacking, nothing major, but added together, they drasticly hurt my enjoyment.
Options menu doesn't save your ninja color after you turn off.
Music was pretty repetitive after the first few levels, but at least I could turn it off.
Several sounds have been down sampled horribly, eg. the mine's explostion. n made them sound truely deadly, while n+ DS made them sound like 5 cent firecrackers.
I read there was going to be new elements to play with, and the only one I see is a time delayed mine, which along with being the easyest thing to not die from, Is never used in the main game!
The red laser enemy, along with being only used 2-3 times in the main game, had a tendancy to have the huge beam be invisible.
n is a slick, smooth, HARD work of art that can take ages to beat, n+ feels like a watered down version. problem is, they could have at least sprung for better than tap water.

Square Enix launches new label for nontraditional gamers

I know it's not the first Peanuts game, it's the 'create your own character' part that makes me feel disgusted for the most part. It reeks of bad fan fiction.

Disgusting way to defile Schultz's memory. Make a game where you get to Marysue around the place and play minigames.
