Mirror's Edge Time Trial DLC delayed to February; PS3 exclusive map on 1/29

Good news about the PS3 maps...

I've got a question, with this whole amalgamated site they've got (PS Joystiq, Xbox Joystiq) does that mean all stories that show up on PS Joystiq will also show up on plain Joystiq? Cause if that's the case, I'll just unsubscribe to the plain one, all I care about are PS3 and 360 news...

FYI -> Volunteer = Not Getting Paid.

The term volunteer means that you are giving your time away freely, BC Hydro will not be paying them for their time as they volunteered.

I would like to warn you all not to post anything bad that may ridicule the father or son. He just may end up suing you for the public berating. *chuckle*

This is absolutely horrible, I could see his need to take the game out of his son's possession if he was under 18 maybe? But if my father were to come to my place and take away a game he bought me due to explicit material, I'd go out to his car, open the door, pull him out and begin beating him with a crow bar.

All kidding aside, that's just absolutely ridiculous. It was a great laugh for my start of day at work. That son of his will likely end up living with his parents until he's 35 if he lets his parents pull stuff like that.

Deputy charged with 2nd degree murder for slaying of suspected PS3 thief [update 2]

@ 22

First post I see with reason. The police officer had a lot to deal with. He was likely given a warning that he was going to apprehend an armed suspect.

The details of what happened have clearly not been made public and we cannot clearly make assumptions of what truly happened.

There can be two general scenarios of what occurred.

1) The officer is a gun blazing lunatic;
2) The officer went in on information of apprehending an armed suspect. He goes in and has a dog attack him and sees the suspect with something in his hand that could have looked like a weapon.

The fact of the matter is, that we do not know exact details of everything inside. But those are the two likely scenarios. I'm sure there are a lot of police officers that are number 1, but the odds are he wasn't. However the fact that he was charged, could show he was number 1, but then again, the charges could have come by public pressure.
