Sony's Peter Dille thinks PSP piracy is 'sickening'

Apr 21st 2009 9:51PM (Joystiq)
I think the best model is the 360. I have one, and have had one since launch and have never modded it, or pirated any games. I have tried to softmod it, but I like the "Live" functionality over the idea of free games. If only they could come up with some impeccable reason to keep it connected to the network and constantly check for hardware inconsistencies then I think they will have something. Till then.. Yo ho yo ho, it's a pirates life for me. (just kidding)

Fanswag Weekly: Fable II Knothole Island DLC

Instead of selling all of my old wares, I benevolently gave them to random people playing on live. Much more satisfying!

Fanswag: Holiday Wish List Giveaway (Part 1)

Nov 25th 2008 9:44AM (Joystiq Xbox)
I never had a big family on my side (only child), but my cousins had a ton of friends, so it was a great time of year for me to have the games and them to come over and play them with me. Felt nice to be included, and the holidays were the only time that really happened.

Peek email-only handheld already discounted $20

iEye, Wow, I want to meet your Grandparents! Not only could my 82 year old Grandpa probably not see this thing unless it was like 6 inches from his face, but I doubt he has the patience to figure it out, or try to press those tiny buttons with his arthritis-laden fingers. (Have you actually seen one of these in person, the buttons are pretty small).

The next generation of Grandparents would be my parents, the 60-somethings. Both of them already have both standard e-mail access and mobile e-mail access, and frankly have no problem looking up the weather on http://www.wunderground.com.

The only real possibly decent market I could see for this is #1, emerging margets, or maybe #2, my 7 year old with her own g-mail account. I did however think that this would have been a neat corporate device. You get a new job in a big corporation, you get one of these. Works on WiFi in the building, and normal over the air otherwise. Allows faster communication where necessary. Too-bad.

Fanswag: Mega Fable 2 giveaway [update]

I think I would play as a mix of both in that regard. Kinda middle of the road. Just enough evil to be entertaining, but good enough not too feel guilty for being bad.

I have to lov my babies, or else the bad people will take them away. :)

Dell handset rumors continue to swirl

Mar 19th 2008 9:26AM (Engadget)
I surely don't despise Dell, I have 5 laptops, 2 desktops and about 14 servers that are all Dell's and frankly wouldn't suggest any other company to anyone for any purpose. What alternatives are we talking about here?
