Mad Catz reveals teased Super Street Fighter IV accessories

Jan 8th 2010 7:18PM (Joystiq)
Hn, nice. I approve of the extended palm space now that they've removed the bezel.

I do hope Mad Catz addresses the one major issue with the TE... the faulty PCBs. Their cheapo wired 360 pads have more reliable circuit boards, for some inexplicable reason.

Hm, a HRAP3 and 2 HRAP1s (Amazon edition)... wonder what fighters they're playing?

Justin Wong wins national SFIV tourney, Daigo remains world champ

Apr 20th 2009 1:06AM (Joystiq)
For all the Umehara fanboys floating around, it's funny that most of them can't actually spell his name.

'Grats to all of the participants, especially the world exhibition players - Wong, Poongko, Iyo, and Daigo all showed the audience a great time with some truly high level SF4 play.

SFII HD designer calls out SFIV for user unfriendliness

Feb 25th 2009 5:15PM (Joystiq)
Whether you want SF4 to be hard or easy to play is up to personal taste, but it is sketchy that Capcom branch is advertising that this game is the series' return to being casual friendly. And then we have game reviews repeating this utterly false claim... though that could just be more proof that most reviewers really do not know a thing about fighting games.

Believe it or not, there are examples of easy to play games that have a lot of depth. Take Soul Calibur 2. Its inclusion of guest characters were probably the initial draw for a lot of new players, but the generous buffer window and lack of esoteric commands made sure that a lot of people stuck around and eventually joined the fighting game community.

Actually, she's a famous Taiwanese artist named Jo Chen...

Though there were a ton of concept artists/designers with that very painterly style coming out of Korea.

The Orange Box gets mysterious 128MB patch [Update]

Mar 20th 2008 2:06PM (Joystiq Playstation)
There was an issue preventing players from connecting to EA Online to play TF2 if their friends list had more than 31 entries... The PS3 TF2 community really got on EA's case about this "you're too popular" glitch and it's one of the things addressed in the patch.
