funny...inflation...yeah. $600 was expensive back then for the average consumer and is still expensive today for the average consumer to spend on a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE.

Sure the PS3 is still a great system...but that doesn't mean success.

As for it not being the PS3s time to shine yet...by the time it does we will be getting Wii 2 and Xbox 720.

Don't worry their will be a niche following for the PS3 like the DC but you won't be seeing any garage games on it due to the stupidity that went into under the hood.

I don't care if you are a Sony, MS or Nintendo fan no one can deny the how popluar the Wii has grown since it's launch and how remarkable it has sold.

And there is no way anyone can deny how bad of a start the PS3 has had.

I love all systems but I do have a bitter taste for Sony right now but that isn't the PS3s fault, it's Sony's.

As of right now...I will be surprised with Sony can keep the PS3 going long enough to match what the Dreamcast did...and still have a cult following to this day.

Personally I use to feel sorry for all types of fanboys becuase all you do is deny yourselfs some kick ass games on all the systems. But now I don't care and just find you all annoying idiots.

Ha! Well this is why I don't care what any reviewers have to say. I picked it up last night and I'm having a blast.

As for 1ups comment about it being one piece ~ What about the boarder? meh ~

I haven't had so much fun with a SSX game since SSX3 and as far as learning curve my 7 year-old was pulling off sweet tricks after 15 minutes but hey she must be hardcore 'cause she only gets to play games a couple of hours on the weekends.
