bioshock on ps3 was a technical disaster,i am not surprised the 360 version of bs2 sold better.
Even I bought the 360 version of BS2 and usually if i have a choice i will get the ps3 version.

I even had to rebuy bs1 for 360 so i could finish playing it as ps3 version was not a great port.

i had no problems tue nite and played for about 5 hrs but tonite the game froze after about 40 minutes, had to power off.
i may just wait until there is a new patch before restarting as it will be too annoying otherwise.

This is well deserved. I have dealt with Apple service a few times in the past year or so and recently dealt with MS Xbox service and the experience was truely a world apart. Amazon is my favorite shopping experience but i have received incorrect info on occasion when emailing customer support with questions.
Apple has always been exceptional, giving me the benefit of the doubt and treating me like a valued customer and not a potential con artist.

Now it makes sense that Sony dropped the price for the PSP version by $10 to $19.95 a few weeks ago...still not sure if the PSP version is worth 2x the iPhone version but for better or wurst I bought the PSP version last week...

Nothing in Sony's notice says anything about most dedicated customers or loyal fans being selected. The exact quote is from Jack Buser was "We will be using a variety of criteria including activity on the PLAYSTATION Network to determine eligibility for the Beta community"

Unless Sony is willing to divulge the specific criteria that they will use, i have to assume that it could be anything and since they have your personal info including your credit card#, DoB, etc. it could easily be abused.

Maybe they will only select white females btwn 18 - 25 yrs who have incomes over $40K and live in california? Maybe, they will decide no-one under 18 or over 30. Since they don't say you dont know.

dont get me wrong, i am not making any accusations but imho a practice that is easily abused will eventually be abused and unless they state their specific criteria up front, you will never know.
Sony should publish their selection criteria so that there is no doubt.

i find your comment on the 'gay pride color' (probably an unintended association...) offensive. I cant say whether you are trying to be witty or are being bigoted but it seems to me that you are implying that obviously no car maker in their right mind would target 'gay' buyers or 'gay friendly' drivers.
I am not flaming you but i am curious as to why you felt the need to make a remark about gays vs any other of the many diverse groups that make up your readership.
Perhaps, it is an unintended association?

a friend had a hacked iphone and 1.1.3 bricked it. He took it to the apple store and they said that since the imei in the phone did not match the one printed on the case they would not do anything.
Do you or anyone know if this can be reversed? or does he now have a pretty paperweiight?

my iphone was at 1.1.2 and had no hacks or unlock or anything like that and 1.1.3 has bricked it!
i get error 1604 with no additional explanation...

lucky my treo is working just fine ;-)
