squeezing supply when your the only next gen console on the market is understandable, but this isn't the case with the wii, i don't think its in nintendo's best interest to do this when they are competing with the ps3 and 360 for market share so if anything they are making as many as possible to satisfy current demand which might be as high as it gets, keeping their lead with the ps3 and catching up with the 360.
