@Extinction the 3ds got a price drop cause no one was buying it, look what happened after the price went down. in fact it seems the initial sales patterns for both systems are the same: an initial frenzy of sales then after a week or 2 they drop like a rock.

@plbelanger yeah, i understand that but those same games (or similar ones) are, like, a dollar or two for iOS.
$50 for a portable uncharted? that's just insane to me. i'm not saying it's not a good game, it seems to be rated as pretty good, but come on.

@ll features ll It's not stinginess, i've got a 64gb ipod touch and i don't see the vita as being a great deal especially when you have to add sony's over priced memory cards. Especially when you add in the cost of games.
I think sony would sell more devices if instead of spending $50 mil on ads, reduce the price by $50 half a million times, that still leaves you with $25 mil for ads.

$50 million campaign? how about bringing the vita down to $199 then i might actually buy one
