If buying the most expensive makes you a lemming, what about the price of the Gamecube when it was released, when it cost more than the PS2. What about the cost of the N64 when it was released, relative to the PS1. What about for handhelds, when the Gameboy was 100 bucks and those shitty tiger toys games were 20 bucks.

Funny because the PS3 made the least amount of profit on the system out of all the 3 so far. I'm talking NET income from hardware sales alone, not software included, gross numbers, price of product. Basically the system has always at LEAST cost more than they have sold it more, if not a very fine line between the two values. The 360 has been making profit off of it's overpriced tag for a long time. And we all know the Wii is made of less than $100 of hardware for a very long time. No surprise there. What about the DS, made of about $50 of hardware.

If anyone are lemmings based on cost, then Nintendo buyers sure are lemmings. Buying things that are certainly not worth the value makes you a lemming. His statement is quite true in the value sense. A wii can't even play dvd-video for christ's sake. 250 dollars for an upgraded Gamecube with waggle controls and teh internetz.

Wait you called... in a satirical light, the PS3... a TOY? Not the Wii? With it's waggle gimmicks, loads of cheaply rushed games that just have recognizable IPs, and completely outdated technology (a la Tiger Toys' products, a TOY company?)?

Everyone I know who has one has played it MAYBE for a collective 20 total hours. They all got one maybe a year ago or more. Yeah it fails at good games to console ratio IMO. But then again I'm at the belief that ALL systems are failing at that ratio right now. Gaming has been so hard hit by the casual market lately they are casualing (aka bad'ing) every fucking game that has potential. Jesus look at FF12, they made a fucking offline-MMO.

Same can be said for the MMO madness. The whole MMO market is unbelievably stale. Not only that, the FPS market as well, every game strives to be the next Halo. How about striving to be the next big game in the genre, or next game to be used as an example to be compared to all other games from then on. These dev's have been aiming low lately. Yes I've just been crying myself over watching my winning formant Blu-Rays, all of my media streaming over my TVersity server, playing all of the PS1 and PS2 games I have wanted to replay without keeping the old PS2 that broke after ONLY 7 years of gaming. That and upscaling all my dvd's so I don't have any reason to keep my old dvd player. Oh and you know, I really like when I'm not using it, to contribute to medical science with F@H. Eye of Judgement isn't cool or anything. Playing movies off of my Tversity server, to my PS3, then over the internet at the jack in the box to my PSP isn't cool or anything.

Did you read it as Smash Melee because that generalization of what a fair tournament is looks to be based on that assumption IMO. And then it would be shiek only since she is the unequivocally best character in the game.

EA is the MOST LIKELY candidate for fucking up ANY franchise IMO.

Now if they could just make it feel like a CnC game this time and not a wanna be Warcraft 3 with bajillions of unit upgrades and potential ability combinations. We want the rush, the 5 minute matches, the true strategy, not the sheer task of memorization... CnC 3 and Generals were huge letdowns personally after the behemoth that was Red Alert 2.
