In my own personal opinion I think the New Jedi Order books would be a wonderful setting for a new Star Wars MMO. You've still got recognizable characters from the original movies yet there is a lot more wiggle room in terms of what you could with that IP.

Yes, even though it may seem like WoW is "real time" you're just seeing the results of what is basically die rolls and modifiers. Everything is based on stats and there is a back and forth of attacking and being attacked. It isn't very dissimilar to an RPG where you're taking turns.

WoW and most MMOs are turn-based, so I don't see how the combat you see in the first two KOTOR games would have any trouble converting into an MMO.

This would take the rare kind of writer/gamer who can play an MMO for a specific amount of time and then pry themselves away from said MMO to write articles of meaning and worth.

Well, you know I wonder if anybody has said High Charity? I mean since the Gravemind took it over, technically you could fight it.

Hmm, it would suck to fight any of the covenant.

I think the more I play the game the less I'd want to fight any of the Flood enemies, especially those new spider dudes.

I think it would be pretty damn terrible to have to fight any of the vehicles. Let alone a Scarab tank!

I'd never want to fight the Arbiter, that dude is bigger than anyone in existence.
