There is a storyline, and some of the characters are funny as hell. That said, the story is nothing more than an excuse to kill stuff. Don't expect an epic narrative.

Yep, you nailed it. And if that's your style of game (as it is mine) it IS a shit ton of fun. My buddy and I have played through it three times now.

Playthrough two is even more fun than the first time, because the difficulty ramps way up.

I'd say it's a Shooter first, a Loot Pinata second and an RPG third.

Don't you have to have, I don't know... produced something... in order to be a "leading" production company?

I've got nothing against them as a company and I wish them all the luck. But calling yourself a leading company of any sort is a bit premature when you haven't actually done anything as a business yet.
