Branching Dialogue: Don't shoot, or I'll move! (A Resident Evil 5 defense)

Feb 9th 2009 11:33PM (Joystiq)
crappy article

crappy demo

will be crappy game

thing is, RE is no longer survival horror, now its more shooter. so having clunky controls (yes, controls) as well as clunky movement is no longer appropriate. sorry! Dead Space will prolly turn out to be 100 times the game RE will be. DS nailed movement and controls.

the non-zombie enemies and complete lack of classic RE atmosphere and setting just reinforces the fact that RE has passed its best days.

and yo, nitpicking words is freakin pointless if everyone knows what is meant. FAIL.

A valiant attempt to get Xbox 360 failure rate answers

Jun 17th 2007 12:21AM (Joystiq)
"Thus since most of the anecdotes of breakdowns are from suspect sources"

Obviously this is total complete and utter BS, and you are a tool for saying it. The reports of breakdowns (including multiple breakdowns) come from a vast array of reliable sources, such as reviewers, investors, industry journalists. That's why reporters are asking these questions. The vast majority of people reporting breakdowns are telling the truth.

A valiant attempt to get Xbox 360 failure rate answers

LTNK

Are you really as moronic as you sound?

"Hence, I don't believe you have that many broken, and in fact believe you are exaggerating, just because it's fun to troll on the web."

So if MANY people report having repeated failures, that makes NOT believe there is a quality problem? And if FEW people report having breakdowns, that would convince you there IS a problem, then?

I love the logic of fools! These fanboys are less likely to beleive there is quality problem the more they hear about it. And the ONLY thing that changes their mind is when it happens to them.

what they don't realize is that the loss of goodwill resulting from this gouging of noobs is much greater than any short term profit they may reap.

between the freaking nickel and diming and the rampant 360 failure rate, m$ is screwing their chance to achieve next-gen console dominance. f%$king idiots.

USK rates Bungie's Marathon for 360

if M$ charges for this it would be absolutely freaking ridiculous, as others have pointed out this has been freeware for several years.

although it seems that the marketplace has a penchant for charging for stuff that is free everywhere else.

Motley Fool tells MS to get its act together

My 360 was showing disk read errors, freezing up, and finally red rings of death. On my second, but the tray is sticking and occasional crashes. oh well.

I dont know what pisses me off more, MS denying there's a problem, or fanboys denying there's a problem. Go ahead, stick your heads in the sand. And I guess smoking doesnt cause cancer, cause i have ten friends who smoke and they dont have cancer.

Anecdotal evidence is just anecdotal, but at a certain point denial just becomes ridiculous.

'Spy Hunter' movie to be helmed by Paul W.S. Anderson

Hey the forst Resident Evil movie was pretty darn good!

And if you freeze frame it you can see full frontal Milla Jovovich nudity - just that redeems it.

The problem I think many people had is that it strayed too far from the VG, but on it's own merits it's pretty good. Besides, I thought RE4 was a bigger departure from the RE world (gothy?!? DMC like?)

Why hasn't the 360 joined the F@H fight?

May 14th 2007 6:57AM (Joystiq Xbox)
my 360 was freezing up all the time, and disk read errors with brand new games. then red ring of death. stopped by the games store and had a chat. their display 360 had the red rings of death. the failure rate for the 360 is massive. and no it is not due to anything people do to it.

on the plus side ms support was very good.

also, it is really stupid to fault medical projects because they use electricity or don't captivate your feeble minds.

The best of Crackdown tricks and glitches

Sorry, but they do look like gay raver bikers. And the characters in Saints Row looked like gay raver gangbangers (triple purple noserings, anyone?)

The art direction in these games is terrible.
