May 4th 2009 4:17PM (Joystiq)As for the game I had abosutley no problem with check points and my second play through i've noticed other ways to take people out rather then using the knife. There is almost always a vareity of ways to take out the enemy and in what order you want to take them out if there are multiple people there.
People compare it to SC but rather its more like Manhunt because you don't have all of Sam's gadgets. You use the knife, maybe an alternate gun and the enviornment for kills.
Also the morphine mode is used for a state of panic within her dream or memory. I've only used it 3 or 4 times through the whole game and stuck to stealth and timing.
The game for me was worth the time and money but I know for sure everyone will just listen to game journalist elites and don't bother checking it out for themselves. This is unfortunate especially for a new company like Replay Studios which is filled with hopeful developers trying to get their foot into the door of the industry but alas will fall victim to the all powerful "game journalist" whom with thier incredible gaming knowledge don't even have to play through the whole game to warrant the conclusion of "don't even bother buying this game" because there weren't enough check points and such.
It took me 15 hours to complete the game because of my slow stealth approach but there are parts (including the last) that are not stealth oriented.
But whatever. The media has spoken and the consumers will listen once again.
