There was a time when I really liked the 4Runner, but man has become a really UGLY vehicle now. The thing looks like a Transformer.

On the flip side I have to give it up to Chrysler for really upgrading the Jeep Grand Cherokee in just about every meaningful way. The exterior design looks new and elegant while still looking like a Grand Cherokee!

I can't help but think if you can spend $99,000 on a Vette you should just spend a few more bucks ($120,000) and get the ZR1. Hell if for no other reason than the ZR1 has the potential to go up in value as the years go by. But also have Ferrari Enzo levels of performance for a fraction of the cost is always a nice thing!

What's so hard about sitting in a Corvette? They're on dealer lots across the country. And I'm sorry, but judged by any standard and the Corvette's interior is fairly low rent. It helps to keep the cost down, which really helps the car to be a good performance bargain, but I have to call it how I see it and that is the interior looks and feels cheap.

GM in my opinion has turned a page and I expect the new Vette will have a much nicer interior, but until then we have the current car's sub par interior.

That's just my opinion, if you think it looks and feels great that's ok....to each his own.

Corvette a 10 Best Car? Really? With that interior? Seriously?

It's a good deal, don't get me wrong, but come on Vette's interior is the poster child of Old GM.

Why? You don't think it meets all its goals for its target audience?

The Fiesta is the better looking car for sure, but that styling does come at a price, its much more cramped than the Fit in back. And then there is performance the Fit is a lot faster to 60, 1.8 seconds quicker in fact. That has to count for something.

Did you even read the Car and Drive article on the Fit? The reasons it won over the Ford were pretty clear, here is just a small part of the article:

"but the 2500-pound Fit nails 60 mph in 8.3 seconds, 1.8 seconds quicker than the Fiesta and 0.8 second sooner than the Mazda 2. We’re equally zinged by this Honda’s upscale interior, its quick and precise steering, an engaging shifter, spot-on ergonomics, a windshield as big as a minivan’s, and a rear seat that is both adult-habitable and drops to the floor faster than a Marine pumping push-ups."

I think it would still be classified a mid engine car since the engine would be behind the rear wheels.
