Watch Sunny from Metal Gear Solid 4 all day as you play

I vaguely remember this part of the storyline now. It's coming back to me through the haze.

I played the second Metal Gear Solid and I still don't remember who she is.

Microsoft's Greenberg slams Sony's failed promises

I think he's right on the 1080p games and the slow delivery cycle - but Sony did the delayed-release thing with the PSP too, so I wasn't nearly as surprised this time around with the slippage. However, I do think his assertion that the console hasn't seen a sales surge is a little incorrect - didn't the PS3 just outsell the 360 in Europe? And hasn't it dominated already in Asia? So really, you just have North America left and we're a little late to the game. I think the hardware frustrations of the 360 have turned people off to the next round of Microsoft consoles and they'll be more apt to sit on the sidelines next round, and Microsoft should fix their own house before throwing rocks at Sony.

Ironman is Paramount Pictures I believe. They're on the Blu-ray bandwagon now, though.

GTA IV freezes sometimes, but there's a fix

Joystiq, you guys are horrible - Kotaku managed to get it straight from Rockstar that the deleting your install and retrying doesn't work for a single soul - http://kotaku.com/385183/rockstar-support-no-gta-freeze-fix-in-sight

First you get the GT4 Prologue review all wrong, and now you're spreading mis-information. Way to go, guys!

You do realize that 2/3 of 18m is 12m, right? That's the same install base as the PS3 you just cited.

First 'Metal Gear Monday' PS.Blog post details MGO beta

Is MGO subscription based? It says that once I confirm the ID they'll walk me through setting up Konami ID Online Payment. If it is, do we know how much it'll cost?

I agree Tru-blu, too few choices. I think I might pick up Blade Runner and maybe Big Fish and Crash. I already own a lot of these - The Fugitive on DVD (it's not even good quality on that), 300, The Departed. There are some new ones, but most of these are a rehash.

I think that with Mediatomb you have to export the avi files with the proper mimetype so if you don't have that set up properly in your configuration you won't be able to see them on the PS3 properly.

I use the streaming video fairly well from my Linux box to my PS3. The reason I don't use an external drive is that my linux machine has drives in raid which serve as my poor-man's backup. The external drive doesn't provide that at all.

I use MediaTomb as my media server for UPnP streaming. TVersity doesn't look like it supports linux.
