@Softserve I've streetpassed about 30 people. Here's some tips:

1.) Go to places with people like church, movie theaters, malls, etc...
2.) Go to places with nerdy people like a Renaissance Fair, library, etc...
3.) Go to places with travelers like an airport, bus station, train station, etc...

If you do those three things, you WILL get streetpasses.

You do realize that you can run Gameboy games in native resolution on a 3D gameboy, right? Just hold Start + Select while it's booting up. If you want the native palette, just press L+R+Y

In order to appreciate this in it's true awesomeness, play it with a Wii remote on a big TV.

There's two ways to play. Either use it in sideways mode and flip it as a pointer when wanting to put down portals (A and B put down portals, 1 and 2 is run and jump.) OR Use a nunchuck and have Z run, A jump, C portal, B Portal.

Speaking of kids, what if a kid throws an item into the cart? Do you auto purchase it?

My kids will destroy this in a heart beat.

The music was central to JSR. To be missing any of it would make it less of a game.

@CoconutSkittle Agreed! Maybe they could also release Episode 1 with the updated physics engine (and Tails!)

@briscott Here's how they could patch it:
1.) Firmware could check to see if a patch has been downloaded for a game inserted into the system.
2.) If the patch exists, it will run the patch instead of the card. The patch would act like an action replay or game genie except it would fix the bug rather than create more cheats.
3.) The patch could also advertise its version to the server. If the server does not get a version number, they know its an unpatched game and thus would reject the cart from connecting online.

So there doesn't have to be a system built into the game. The system only has to be built into the firmware and you could theoretically patch any game.
