There is no portal. I managed to mount-glitch myself inside of the tower and there is nothing there. The portal-like sound you probably heard were from those 2 little orb pillars right outside of the tower itself.

I have one, they are the same as the other hippogryphs like the Cenarion one. They still can't land on the ground because Blizz is lazy.

My favorite in-game item is my Mini Tyrael. Everyone thinks I eBayed it but I actually won it from a WorldofWar.net contest.

I use PCs and you can do it. But if you can't figure it out, you can just have two AIM accounts logged on each computer and transfer the files over that way. It will go at light speed since both accounts are logged on the same network. For me it was sending at about 5MB per second.

Perhaps having Soul Shards stack or having just one Shard with a Durability like Rogue thrown weapons, and one Dura is taken when it is used.
