So glad I didn't have this one preordered. EA still hasn't learned anything, have they? We want to be able to map our own controls on PS3 to what makes actual, you know, sense. Why can we not map our controls? I keep knifing, throwing grenades and using melee attacks when I should be aiming down my sights and shooting with the L2 and R2 buttons!

I went to high school in Polk County, NC, where we actually played against Maiden High in just about every athletic pursuit you can think of.

So, in light of that, color me THRILLED that Apple's really given Maiden (and all of NC for that matter) a makeover for the ages. And so, even if Apple charges a small annual fee for this service, I'd probably happily pay it because I want to support businesses that take a major chance in the state of NC.

I've got a malfunction-happy iPhone 3G, so if Apple wishes to make the iPhone 5 available in, say, May, I'd be one happy little duck.

Well, this is a perfect app IMO. I haven't picked up any iAd-compatible apps yet... this will be my first.

Responding to your reasons, Mr. Sande:

1. Couldn't agree more.
2. See above.
3. Yep, greater retail availability (including Wal-Mart) makes this device a truly easy sell, except when you're getting an iPhone 5 for your birthday and that is it. Glad the iPhone 5 *appears* to be going back towards the iPhone 3G/3GS design, I don't have any idea why Apple went in the design direction of the iPhone 4 in the first place.
4. iPad 2's FaceTime feature will really sell the device to so many families with a loved one working and/or serving our country over long distances.
5. The word "fragmentation" was never more truly uttered.
6. The iPhone was the exact same way. Apps really, really made the iPhone an easy sell for so many folks.

I noticed something about that invite.

Why would Apple say "Come See What 2011 Will Be The Year Of" if they didn't have some pretty amazing stuff up their sleeves?? New products sounds about right. Maybe a wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad at long last? Maybe an updated iWork for the iPad? And what other new products besides the iPad 2 will drop at the event?

I'm so glad you brought the Bloggie Touch software to us Mac owners. Now how about Media Go? It'd make for 1 less reason I need to use Windows, that is for sure.

I have seen the musical Wicked twice, once in New York City and once when the national tour made it to my neck of the woods.

I'm waiting for the inevitable Wicked movie musical, but I want them to take the time and do it right. Even if they're late to the party, I'll wait until they have done it right, because Hollywood does tend to screw up certain movies.

Wait... No iWork '11? No QuickBooks? That's a shame.
