You seem to be forgetting about all the fony gaystation fangirls who brag about their ability to play HD-DVD. The best resolution you can get with a standard definition tv is 480i. So, if you all want the highest resolution for your movies, you're going to need a HDTV. This is another $800-2000! So that means you need to pay that much along with the $600 PS3 version just for the best resolution. F***ing rip-off!

nothing will be able to destroy pc games for a while, ps3 may not even be able to outperform the xbox 360 version. but i guess that i'll have to wait until E3.

sony is just trying to keep up a hope that they will be able to save their own asses.

Remember, this isn't mandatory to own, so don't diss MS for selling it for an extra $100(even though that means a lot of money to us poor people). All of you ps3 fanboys will have HD-DVD, but it will come at a price. I mean, not everyone wants HD-DVD, b/c many of us are content with regular dvds. What's the difference? OHHH- the disks can hold more info, and movies look and sound better, you can see the same goddamn movie on a reg. dvd player.
