Sony claims George 'Geohot' Hotz is avoiding trial in South America

Mar 23rd 2011 5:31PM (Joystiq)
At this point I'm giving up on Sony. I even got myself a 360.

Every year Sony seems to remove features and now they are trying to tell me what i can and can't do with the hardware I bought then shoving update after update down my throat. It's ridiculous.

Sony promised me a system that does everything, now i want nothing to do with it. I was going to go from my iphone to the psp phone.

I'm tired of sony's arrogance. I'm glad they are last place in the console war.

How to fix the Video Game Awards

I agree with your list the VGAs is a boatload of poo. I don't have a problem with "objectifying women". Talk like this killed E3 IMO. Men and women are objectified equally in this world. Only different is that over sensitive people complain about it (usually women, or girly males.)

If you don't agree look at fighting games. Who has more clothes on? Cammy or Zangief? Or look at toys who is more out of proportion Barbie or GI JOE?

Proof.

How Ironic, the game that created the ESRB is censoring itself to appease it...

I believe that taxing any thing virtual will hurt the internet and gaming at large. It might do more harm to our economy then good. More over add another layer of complexity for the game industry, which may cause more game companies to go over seas.

Thank you politicians...

Religion of Halo helps churches find young congregants

Hay blooh (CDF - Ass Ring),

Yeah i know what you mean about the WOW addicts. But keep in mind that hard core WOW addicts are a small percentage of game players. While 100% of users who use hardcore drugs like cocaine are addicts. Drug use has horrible and life long impacts on your body and brain. Video games do not have the game effects on you. I have never had life threating Super Mario Bro withdrawals...

Religion of Halo helps churches find young congregants

I think what Todd is trying to say is that religion is about rules. Sort of like traffic laws. The rules are there for certain reasons if we no one knows why and people who follow the traffics laws normally do them out of a sense of obligation and ignore them when it no longer suits them. (Any one ever made a left turn against solid double yellow lines?)

By his definition a "relationship" with Jesus is not about just following some random rules you don't care for but instead actually perusing real change and growth through a "relationship" with God.

I Congratulate you Mr. Video game playing LAN coordinator preacher man. (I hope someone gets the reference.)

First Video games are not the same as drugs and pornography. ANY gamer should be offended by comments like this. Someone who says that obviously doesn't not understand or care for the medium as a whole. This hatred is most often caused by ignorance.

Second Church as a whole has always been extremely social. Churches adding games is just a way for them to continue their social function into modern times.

As a gamer I applaud ANY church that is trying to incorporate video games as they are helping to bring games in to the main stream. As games become more main stream there will be less hate towards video games (That steam from ignorance.)

Flaming Christianity because you don't like religion as a whole is just as ignorant as people who say that video games are evil.
