The plot thickens... I just got an email saying Mike Kelehan replied to your post. But it says I'm commenting as Michael Kelehan. Come on, guys, what's going on here?
Tried that. My account is just a complete mess. When I log in, it usually even says, "You must specify a username before logging in for the first time!" I then specify my name as Mike Kelehan, click Login, and nothing happens. Then, when I go to another page, it says I'm logged in as Mike Kelehan. But, when I comment, (Unverified).
I'd like my account to just be deleted so I could create it again with my name and email, but I can't find any sort of contact form or anything on the site for account issues.
That would be great. The problem is, the Sega CD is notoriously difficult to emulate, like the Saturn, which is why we don't have Saturn and Sega CD games on XBLA and PSN.
If you thought it was tough keeping Final Fantasy numbers straight 90s, just try following this series. Some of them are Monster World, some are Wonder Boy, some are Wonder Boy in Monster World... some were even turned into Adventure Islands. It's pretty much impossible to keep track.
This particular game is a sequel to Wonder Boy 5. I'm not kidding.
Also, I've been commenting here for a year or so. How can I get rid of this (Unverified) business?
This is the best indie game out there, and easily better than most of XBLA and (IMO) most retail games. Try the demo. And don't be worried about the insane amount of arrows; there are difficulty settings.
Yes, it's illegal, and can get you in trouble if you're caught. And, because of those licensing issues, that may give GOG some trouble when they negotiate deals with new publishers who only have the rights in certain places.

That being said, I think this is very cool.
