Mar 17th 2010 10:34PM (Engadget)Microsoft doesn't have that luxury, they have to sell their products purely on marketing and feature set. The same people that passed on iPhones because of the lack of advanced features (myself included) will pass on WP7 phones for the same reason. The people they're aiming at are basically iPhone buyers that haven't bought an iPhone yet. Judging by the sales numbers, that's not a lot of people.
At this point I hope WP7s initial release is a sales failure and they fastlane the improvements needed to give it an overall featureset competitive with what is out NOW and in the future, not with what Apple launched with years ago.
