Guitar Hero iPhone gets Weezer pack

Sep 16th 2010 7:54AM (Joystiq)
@PR0F3TA Rather than just going by a review, I would actually listen to the album before judging it. I agree it isn't as good as the blue album, but I thought it was a good album in its own right.

Rock Band 3 details: RB2 export confirmed for all consoles, 'pro' mode DLC may be more expensive

Sep 6th 2010 2:06PM (Joystiq)
@xYOSSARIANx You don't have anything to worry about with pro drums, it's safe to assume all standard DLC tracks should include pro drums with no extra charge. All current DLC tracks except for a few early RB1 songs already have them in the files, so it's no extra work for HMX.

In the video he also specifically mentions pro guitar and bass as being time consuming, he doesn't say pro drums.

Dell offering deals on Xbox 360, Wii and Band Hero this weekend

@Raiki Yup, with Rock Band 2 at least. But you won't be able to play the pro drums mode in RB3 with the Band hero kit.

Six more Rock Band 3 songs (and three for Dance Central!) revealed

Jul 24th 2010 6:08PM (Joystiq)
Was that all they said at the panel? Surely they must have talked about more than just songs. I also heard Drop it Like its Hot was confirmed for Dance Central in addition to Bust a Move

Call of Duty: World at War Zombies 'sequel' now available

Jun 5th 2010 3:09AM (Joystiq)
Basically, you buy the 'sequel' if you only want the Shi No Numa map and not the original one. If you want the other maps later, they go for $5 a piece. If you have the original, you can get the Shi No Numa map as an add on for $5.

Makes sense to me, if you don't want the original map you can just get the new one for $10 instead of $15 if you had to buy the original.

EA: Pandemic's California location 'significant' in decision to close studio

You know I think we've found the cure for that whole H1N1 pandemic, a healthy dose of digital distribution and California ;)

I'll gladly take it off your hands ;)

ESRB launches TV campaign to promote mobile ratings guide

Dec 2nd 2009 8:19AM (Joystiq)
I think people are misinterpreting the article, it doesn't mention anything about mobile games requiring ratings, just an app that lets parents check the ratings of normal console games and their descriptions.
