I think a lot of people are missing a crucial point here. What Bob wanted is more than just some license, he wants the DS development kit. That's obviously something you don't just hand out to crazies in a basement.
These developers that make often crappy games have still managed to justify things such as marketability, reliability, and security to Nintendo. So while Bob's Game might be better than some games out there, it doesn't mean he's qualified to have a dev kit handed over to him.

TMNT on the GBA was pretty darn good... but that was a little while back.

Haha, so true. I was skeptical about EBA, but I was amazed at how much fun I had on the LaLa and Believe stages.

Seriously, Megadeath and Slayer in EBA? We don't want to pull a Bomberman: Act-Zero on Elite Beat Agents.

I'm an Iron Maiden and Rage fan myself, but I their songs in EBA would be completely out of place. Might as well throw hookers in the next Mario game.

I hope we don't get a bunch of Guitar Hero/ Rock Band song lists here. Very different games from EBA.
As for my wishlist, it tends to lean more towards classics because those sort of songs seem more EBA-esque to me. So let's see....

Life is Beautiful - Sixx AM (probably doesn't fit the mood of EBA very well, but it'd be a fun song to tap to)
Closing Time - Semisonic
Brown-eyed Girl - Van Morrison

I'm definitely going to get it in June, it seems really neat.
And I can't believe that people are arguing about guitar vs. piano. Really, a musician should be able to appreciate any instrument. I played piano for years and I'm now learning guitar and they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Both are simply great instruments that we couldn't do with out. So if you have a problem with either, you should probably just stick with playing the radio.
