Folks, this is never coming out here. The probability that North American licensing rights for the Tatsunoko characters will ever be secured is something like 2%.

If I were Capcom, given the situation.... I'd drop the Tatsunoko characters, replace them with something they can actually gets the rights to, and release this game in North America.

Even if Capcom can't get the rights to Tatsunoko characters, they could easily get the rights to *something else*.

Ummm, this is set-in-stone confirmed for a US release? Because the last I heard, it was never being released here.

It's a slap in the face from Capcom if only Japan gets this.

I'm actually looking forward to picking up Hell's Kitchen for $19.99 in January or February 2009.

This game shouldn't have launched at $40, imho.

Now that Final Soldier is out (well, not today, but it will be on Monday), I'm hoping that they will finally go back and release Cybercore.

Come on, Hudson. It's such a good game. When I had my TG-16, Cybercore got more play than any other game. And you've released all of the other shmups, including the mind-numbingly crappy Psychosis -- you easily could have skipped that one.

Can we get some actual, verified news about what damage, if any, this does to the Wii?

Nintendo used an extremely CHEAP dvd drive in the Wii and I have my suspicions that playing dvd's in a Wii actually damages the drive.

Kind of lame that the game only ships with the Federation and Klingons, and other races (Jem'Hadar, Romulan) are going to be added in an "expansion pack". I don't want to play as a Federation person or a Klingon. I want to play as a Romulan.

Nintendo didn't think this year was the right year to announce any "big" titles?

Well, then, I don't think this year is the right year for Nintendo to expect any "big" sales numbers.

It's very simple. Either release big titles that people want, or expect flat sales numbers on the dreck that you actually do release.
