Joystiq First Look: Fallout 3

I don't understand all the bitterness towards a game no one has played, or even seen for that matter...wait til it comes out to pass judgement.

Wii hits 100,000 in Australia, breaks more records

I played the Wii pretty much for two weeks, now the kids play it when they get bored once in a while. I have three games for my PS3, and when there is a rare multi-platform title launches for the PS3/Xbox 360 I buy it for the 360 because the online component is so much better.

That was a really long way of saying the Wii and PS3 was a waste of money and time.

You have got to be shitting me...I have all three consoles and couldn't care less what it comes out on. Wait to see if it's a good damn game before you trash it. Fanboys...

I have a native 720p projector on a 136" screen, and at a viewable distance of 20' to 25' I see no difference. Waste of time if you ask me...

Xbox 360's Red Ring of Death visits Weekly Geek Show

I have had three crap out on me, the fourth system is in Oklahoma City scheduled to be delivered Monday. The last one to die had a manufacture date of 11/25/2005 (refurb) and was out of warranty when I called MS. I was pissed when I called (I was out of line with the way I treated the foreigner taking my call, but understandably angry) and explained (screamed is more like it) my situation, and they calmly offered to replace my unit free of charge with a new one. I don't know who said it earlier, but I think all of the issues (at least mine) have come from the launch units being refurbished and put back into circulation. And by "launch units" I mean the first six months or so of production. My first unit to crap out was produced February 22, 2006 and all since have been manufactured prior to that date. I am a die hard Xbox fan, the games are great and I love XBL and the Marketplace, but this is my last shot. DON'T SCREW IT UP THIS TIME MS!! WE WON'T BE AROUND FOREVER TO DEFEND YOU!! I HOPE YOU READ THE JOYSTIQ FORUMS!!!

How much longer can Xbox Live charge consumers?

Mar 17th 2007 2:17PM (Joystiq)
8 million PC gamers pay $15 a month to pay ONE game. Why is it not free? Because you have to maintain the servicese , patches, etc...

Similar to what MS does with Live. I find the price reasonable and will continue to do so until it is no longer of value. The PC silver service is free and equivelant to what several free PC services offer. If you don't think it is of value, don't pay for it.
