I downloaded the demo this morning and tried it out. Seems fun so far. I'll probably wind up picking this up just for something to do when I'm bored and want something quick and simple to play.

I just don't see why I must pay $50 for a service I don't want to use (I rarely play anything multiplayer and since PS3 multiplayer is free I can just use that) so that I can get demo's and content. It's barely benefits Gold members and it does nothing to make me want a Gold account.

It's possible it could have been a glitch but I don't think it was. the message state (not exact words) that the content was available only for gold members and that if I would like to access the content I had to upgrade to a gold membership or wait a few days (weeks? - don't remeber exactly) and it will become free for Silver members.
